Shelly Bartek’s unique impressionistic fine art niche combines a loose painterly style using oil and reflective gold leaf. Her original art, and prints are popular & loved by art collectors, corporations, and galleries. Beginning as an illustrator earning top commissions worldwide,she now creates work directly with galleries to make her art available to the public.
Educating herself by working aside great artists, traveling and gaining knowledge of mystical symbolism & philosophy both in mythology and historical iconography.
Shelly’s style in the fine art world is influenced by the master artist Vincent Van Gogh & Gustav Klimt. Although her subject matter varies, her intention is to portray Gold Illuminations of Light. Her painting not only reveal the surface of the objects, they can also reflect their hidden meanings.
Exhibitions
The FALL REFLECTION Show, where Shelly Bartek's art transforms with the intensity of the light of the space it holds or simply as the viewer walks across the room. Her mission is to create light from the gold’s energy making the art come alive. Opening night had a consent flow of intrigued art lovers. The show continues at the 616 Gallery through November 6th. Thursday - Saturday, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Shelly Bartek was selected to show her work at the SUNDERLAND GALLERY CULTURAL CENTER for the "SPIRIT OF ART" 2009 SHOW. Bring on the Opening Shelly spoke on a panel discussion with other artist focusing on the God's gift of an artist to express their talents to educate and entertain the public.
